Miguel A. Cossio

Miguel Cossio grew up in Madison, GA and graduated from the University of Georgia. As a law student in Atlanta at Georgia State University, Miguel worked as a legal clerk for Thomas Ashenden, Dwight Thomas, and the United States Federal Public Defenders.

Miguel has represented clients in a variety of civil cases, including medical malpractice, class actions, contract disputes, landlord / tenant disputes, victims of crimes, wrongful death, dram shop, animal attack victims, auto-accidents, premise liability, and police brutality.

He is  admitted to practice in Georgia Superior & State Courts, Georgia Court of Appeals, Georgia Supreme Court, Federal District Courts in Georgia, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

When he’s not practicing law, you might find Miguel playing golf, refereeing children’s soccer, or coaching wrestling.

Miguel serves as chairman of the golf tournament for the Young Lawyer’s Division. The tournament has raised over $6,000 in the last two years for the Savannah Guardian as Litem program (protecting the interests of children in legal disputes).
